The Rural Law Enforcement Technology Institute is a week of valuable networking that has been described by several past attendees as a “miniature FBI National Academy”. If selected, this experience is offered at absolutely no cost to the attendee. In return, we ask that you submit your presentation in advance with your application. The presentation submitted with the application does not need to be the finished, polished product. We only need a basic outline in order to make an informed decision during the selection process. If selected to attend the RLETI, you will be given time to update your presentation prior to the event. Most presentations contain 10 to 15 slides and cover the following:
An Introduction of the Officer
Overview of the Agency
Description of the Jurisdiction
Presentation of the implemented technology or the challenges being faced
Closing
